What I like Most: As a physical therapist for the last twenty-five years, I never tire of the satisfaction that comes from helping a patient achieve their maximum level of health. I enjoy running, yoga, reading, playing, and chasing my two little boys. I often spend my time retrieving toys from furniture and awkward places.

What I like Most: The best part of my work is having the opportunity to provide one-on-one care to a diverse community. It is so rewarding to witness the positive changes, not only the physical changes, that occur as someone goes through the healing process. This is particularly true of people who have suffered from very chronic complaints, some as long as twenty years or more. It is really a privilege to do what I do, and I love it.

Linda Finn
PT

Special Credentials:

Licensed Physical Therapist, State of Illinois

Education: Northern Illinois University

Hobbies:
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I have four beautiful children that keep me very busy. I also enjoy working out and participating in yoga and pilates classes. My family participates in a lot of outdoor activities, including hiking and camping with the Boy Scouts. My husband and I enjoy trying new restaurants, golfing and traveling when we can find the free time.

What I like Most: I love my job and the client base with whom I work. I feel great rewards when my patients get better and their functional level improves. I have spent the last seven years of my career focusing on treating female and male Pelvic pain conditions and urinary/fecal incontinence. Many patients are unaware that therapists could treat these diagnoses. I am pleased that there is finally more awareness about these conditions and that there is help available for them.

What I like Most: Sport competition has always motivated me to strive for success, to be very passionate about education and to home my skills, as well as teaching me to communicate with my teammates in order to reach common goals. In both sport and physical therapy, I find it is our positive mind-set that sets the stage for successful achievement. I find the qualities that have made me a successful athlete help me to guide my patients through the healing process towards achieving their highest level of function in a timely manner.
